Role Overview
We're seeking a Superintendent / Regional Manager to run a diverse civil and earthworks division based in Albany. Candidates already living in the Great Southern or those willing to relocate to Albany are strongly encouraged – relocation assistance is fully provided.
This is a hands‑on senior leadership role overseeing Supervisors, managing day‑to‑day operations, and ensuring consistent delivery across multiple regional sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor Supervisors delivering bulk earthworks, detailed earthworks, road rehab, pits, subdivisions, carpark builds and general civil packages.
* Attend sites daily/weekly to check progress, resolve issues, re‑sequence work and maintain productivity and quality.
* Coordinate labour, plant, subcontractors and materials across several active job fronts.
* Maintain high safety and QA standards: toolbox talks, audits, corrective actions and compliance checks.
* Prepare and review production reports, cost forecasts, site diaries and risk items for senior management.
* Resolve technical issues, client requests, variations and operational bottlenecks promptly.
* Implement process improvements to lift Supervisor performance and reduce delays and rework.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Proven Superintendent or Senior Supervisor background in civil & earthworks (bulk/detailed earthworks, road construction/rehab, subdivisions).
* Experience running multiple projects at once and overseeing several Supervisors.
* Strong technical and practical understanding of earthworks sequencing, survey/levels, QA requirements and productivity drivers.
* Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
* Current driver's licence and valid Australian work rights.
