Key Responsibilities
* Maintain lawns, gardens and school ovals through regular mowing, weeding and fertilising to ensure a safe and healthy outdoor space for students and staff.
* Prepare and maintain outdoor sporting facilities such as courts, fields and cricket pitches to meet the needs of various sports and activities.
* Set up and pack down spaces for events, exams and assemblies efficiently and effectively to minimize disruption.
* Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on furniture, equipment and fixtures promptly to prevent delays and interruptions.
* Perform immediate cleaning tasks when cleaners are not rostered to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
* Clear drains and gutters and support waste collection and disposal to prevent environmental hazards.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements at all times to protect the well-being of staff and students.
