Location: Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week and is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day delivery of facility services and operations.
Oversee and ensure that any planned preventative maintenance programmes (PPM) are carried out effectively.
Maintain statutory compliance of required regulations and keep all records up to date.
Support the successful delivery and management of all outsourced contracts.
Lead communications between clients, contractors and members working within the office.
Manage and review responsible areas compliance on the CAFM (Ethos/Tabs) system.
Oversee the site security rota and ensure shifts are fully covered at all times.
Supervise members of the facilities team on a day-to-day basis.
Manage staff hours worked, sickness and annual leave.
Plan, organise and provide training for the facilities team.
Ensure compliance with HR policy and procedures.
Qualifications
A professional qualification in real estate and/or facilities management (FM: IWFM Level 3+ / Area FM: IWFM Level 4+) or relevant experience.
Health & safety (NEBOSH, IOSH) would be advantageous; Certified Membership of IWFM or equivalent is desirable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
Knowledge of UK Health & Safety laws and statutory regulations relating to building management, including interaction with local authority representatives.
