Plantmark – one of Australia's leading national wholesale plant nurseries – is seeking a customer service focused nursery person to join our Trade Market team at Langwarrin.

Plantmark operates seven Wholesale Trade Markets with sales, production and distribution in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Plantmark has been the largest trade supplier to the urban development, landscape and local government sectors for over thirty five years and has established an outstanding reputation for excellence within the nursery industry.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Trade Market Manager, the role involves hands on sales and customer service, along with plant consultation, scanning stock, processing payments and liaising with suppliers. Also required are general nursery duties including weeding, watering, merchandising, grounds maintenance and using trade equipment. The position is full time, working a five-day Monday to Friday roster.
Position Details
Plantmark offers a four-week induction and training program, with face‐to‐face learning and online courses presenting a roadmap for success in the role.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of botanical plant identification and horticulture experience
* High level customer service skills with a proactive approach to solving queries
* Adept with following processes and responsibilities
* Confident computer ability at intermediate standards
* Positive work ethic with ability to effectively work unsupervised as well as in a team

* Supervisory aspirations or experience
* Effective communicator across a varied group of individuals
* Accountability for tasks with a sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail
