During the sales process, the Senior Presales Consultant is responsible for leading complex solution engagements and positioning Archer as the strategic partner of choice. Senior Presales Consultants are recognised subject matter experts who combine deep technical knowledge of the Archer platform with broad industry experience to deliver business outcomes for enterprise clients.
They engage directly with executive‐level stakeholders, shaping solution strategies and influencing buying decisions through trusted advisory relationships and thought leadership.
What You'll Achieve
As a Senior Presales Consultant, you'll lead strategic customer engagements, design enterprise‐scale solutions, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and Archer's internal teams. You'll play a key role in advancing Archer's value proposition in integrated risk management (IRM) by combining technical depth with business acumen and industry insight.
You Will
* Lead and own the technical sales process for highly complex enterprise opportunities
o Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, understanding their strategic objectives, challenges, and success metrics
o Deliver tailored demonstrations and solution presentations aligned to C‐level and board priorities
o Guide clients through the full technical evaluation process, including proof‐of‐concepts (POCs), architecture design, integrations, and solution validation
o Collaborate with sales leadership, product management, and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment and continuity from presales through implementation
o Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other Presales Consultants across the region
o Contribute to the creation of new sales methodologies, messaging, and best practices for Archer's go‐to‐market strategy
o Lead or participate in internal domain focus groups to share knowledge, develop team collateral, and consolidate feedback from the field
o Represent Archer at industry events, user groups, and executive briefings as a subject matter expert and thought leader
* Ability to speak in front of small to medium size audiences (1 to 100 people)
* Travel within assigned territory is expected
Requirements
* Minimum of 8 years of related experience in integrated risk management (IRM), governance risk and compliance (GRC), or a related discipline
o Proven experience engaging with senior or executive‐level stakeholders in complex enterprise environments
o Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey both technical and business value
o Demonstrated leadership in solution design, customer engagement, or technical sales strategy
o Ability to anticipate customer needs and develop innovative approaches that align to strategic business outcomes
o Technical aptitude and hands‐on proficiency with SaaS, cloud, and enterprise software environments
