Executive Chef - Flynn Lodge
About this role:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at Flynn Lodge in Alice Springs. This is a permanent full-time position that requires a professional who enjoys working in a multi-functional kitchen and places a personal touch on meal design and preparation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, handling and storage of residents' meals, as well as managing food storage and handling, developing menus and working with multiple dietary requirements, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
* Lead and manage the culinary team to ensure seamless service delivery
* Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and carers to understand their needs and preferences
Requirements
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar discipline
* Food Handlers Certificate
* Minimum 2 years experience in a commercial chef environment, preferably in a Health or Aged Care facility
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
