The Opportunity
Due to organisational growth, CPP is seeking a highly motivated and detail‐oriented Procurement Advisor in this brand new role as our Legal and Corporate function expands.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will provide exceptional support, governance, and expertise in procurement. As a senior member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing end‐to‐end category initiatives.
* Leading Master Subcontract arrangements with key vendors.
* Standardising procurement templates and Internal Procurement Guidelines and Frameworks where required.
* Assisting the Procurement Coordinators with vendor registration pre‐qualifications.
* Providing procurement advice during Bid Handover Meetings.
* Leading strategic procurement workshops.
* Supporting BAU procurement, contributing to bids, and leading category initiatives—particularly across the transmission lines and electrical (HV) space.
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* 5–10 years' experience in procurement, category management, or business partnering.
* Tertiary qualifications in Business or Procurement training (CIPSA qualifications preferred).
* Highly desirable: experience in the utilities or renewable energy industry.
* Demonstrated negotiation skills.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
