We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.As we continue a chapter of growth, we need you to join us as an IT Security Specialist. You will be responsible for taking a lead role with managing IT security risks to ensure there is a cyber-aware culture for WIC. This will require an important focus on governance and cyber management, closely partnering with key stakeholders to execute important objectives.Harnessing your strengths and knowledge in Cyber Security, you will apply best practice approaches with the appropriate technology available with a focus on achieving outcomes within challenging situations and engaging as a subject matter expert with senior leaders.You will be a value-driven individual that deeply understands complex technical environments and industry standards.Who We're Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you will have:Demonstrated leadership and management of IT Security initiatives and incident response support.Proven experience introducing, supporting and maturing information security practices and processes within organisationsExperience operating in an environment with a high degree of sensitivity or IT security risk, such as Health, Dispute Management and/or WorkCoverKnowledge and application of IT Security industry standards such as ISO27001 Information Security Standards, Essential 8 and Information Security ManualAbility to work efficiently, flexibly and collaboratively with different IT professionals, teams and stakeholders on security initiatives, architecture and threat identificationDegree in the field of Information Technology Security and or demonstrated experience within the field backed by industry accreditation and developmentFor further information, please refer to our position description which you can access here through our careers site.Resolution matters.
