Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Site Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the delivery of an exciting, long-term waste dump rehabilitation project in the heart of the Pilbara. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee daily site operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This position involves supervising loading and hauling activities, as well as pushing and re-designing waste dumps using Dozers Excavator and Articulated Dump Trucks.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate on-site personnel and Client.
* Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all site procedures.
* Oversee environmental and quality control standards.
* Conduct regular inspections, audits, and toolbox meetings.
* Manage plant, equipment, and labour resources effectively.
* Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams for timely delivery of materials.
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth communication.
* Identify and resolve issues that may impact progress or quality.
* Lead daily pre-start and coordination meetings.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor
* S26 Supervisor Components completed (BSBWHS411, BSBWHS414 and S26 Examination)
* National Police Clearance (Within 6 Months)
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
* Proven ability to implement and maintain Health & Safety Management Systems.
* Experience applying risk management protocols in a mining or construction environment.
* Construction Induction (White Card) and a current driver's licence
* Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
* Experience with Trimble and rehabilitation projects (highly desirable)
* Dozer operation experience (highly desirable)
* Experienced with steep terrain
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
