Administration Officer / Basic Store Officer
Due to Vacancy within the business we are currently seeking an Administration Officer.
Located in Warrnambool Victoria, you will be joining a well-established company, formed 20+ years ago specializing in the manufacturing of sheet metal machinery. The business has state of the art equipment & facilities. The business operates in a growing and rapid paced setting.
Responsibilities
Organising freight and logistics
Tracking orders and invoices for customers
Answering, taking messages and transferring customer phone calls
Create Purchase Orders for various parts using our purchasing system
Ensure deliveries received are correct and match Purchase Orders and Invoices
Maintaining and keeping work secure documentation current
Booking flights, travel and accommodation for service technicians
Sending and receiving emails and communicating with both Customers and Suppliers
Pack stock and parts into designated areas in store
Forwarding emails from customers to the appropriate recipient
Handling client concerns and complaints
Greeting visitors in the office
Communicating with management and other team members
Sorting through and delivering mail to the appropriate recipients in the office
Taking regular inventory of office supplies
Organizing office files in a way that can be easily accessed and understood by employees
Filing various documents both on the computer and in filing cabinets
Maintaining office equipment including scanners, fax machines, printers, and telephones
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, inventory systems, email and internet, and all basic computer skills is essential.
