Job Role
The primary objective of this position is to diagnose and complete less complex repairs to engines at the customer's site.
You will engage customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs.
Use specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
Perform regular maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field.
Escalate issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
Complete all necessary documentation, such as service records, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Identify additional service opportunities with customers.
Participate in training programs in line with skill and business requirements.
Ensure the service vehicle and tools are maintained for cleanliness and proper operation.
Comply with all relevant Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to site management and supervisor.
