Senior Software Engineer – Contact Centre Transformation
Base range: A$1,000.00/yr – A$1,150.00/yr
About the role: Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer experienced in the Contact Centre domain to contribute to a hybrid cloud transformation initiative. You will help modernise legacy on‑premise platforms and integrate cutting‑edge AI‑powered voice and real‑time summarisation solutions into customer engagement workflows. You will collaborate closely with voice engineering, IVR, data insight teams, and AI enablement squads to build secure, scalable, and intuitive voice/contact experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain .NET Core/GRPC services integrated with SAS and voice pipelines
* Deliver AI‑driven speech analytics, transcription, and real‑time summaries
* Integrate legacy on‑prem systems into hybrid cloud environments
* Develop secure web UI components (HTML/CSS/JS, OAuth)
* Support voice biometrics, SIPREC traffic, and orchestration platforms
* Contribute to architecture decisions and secure delivery practices
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong backend expertise in .NET Core/C#
* Experience with GRPC microservices, SIPREC/IVR telephony, hybrid cloud integrations
* UI integration with HTML/CSS/JS and secure embedding
* Government project exposure; Baseline clearance (or eligible)
* Familiarity with SAS analytics/speech solutions
Nice to Have
* NV1 clearance or willingness to uplift
* CX platform knowledge
* Containerisation with Podman/Docker
* Experience in agile/digital squad environments
