Job Title: Audiologist/Audiometrist
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives through better hearing.
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused audiologist or audiometrist to join our busy hearing clinic.
This is a permanent full-time role, working Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose the extent of clients' hearing loss using various techniques.
* Report results of assessments and provide referrals to medical practitioners as necessary.
* Recommend solutions for clients with hearing impairments, including amplification devices, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices.
* Develop and implement personalized aural rehabilitation programs for clients.
* Provide counseling, advice, and information to clients and their families throughout treatment.
* Collaborate with other professionals to develop and manage noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
* Treat and manage hearing and communication disorders resulting from age-related issues, disabilities, injuries, or diseases.
Requirements:
* University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
* Full membership of AudA or ACAud and current QP number.
* Excellent audiological skills and knowledge.
* Strong customer care and service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
* Ability to learn and understand new software with training.
* Proven ability to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Good team working skills.
* Ability to network with General Practitioners and other allied health professionals.
* Citizenship or the right to live and work in Australia.
