Establishing a brand new specialist service from the ground up requires exceptional leadership and organisational skills. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for designing operational systems, software, billing processes and patient pathways to create an efficient, modern and patient-focused service.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in medical practice management, with proven expertise in Genie and/or Gen2 practice management software. Strong knowledge of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and ECLIPSE billing processes is also essential.
Key responsibilities include setting up and managing administrative, digital and clinical systems, coordinating patient bookings, consulting sessions and surgical lists, and handling medical billing processes. Liaising with hospitals, insurers, referrers and service providers is also a critical aspect of this role.
