We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator to join our dedicated healthcare team. This rewarding role provides leadership in clinical education, staff development and mentoring to support excellence in nursing practice and high-quality patient care within our rural health service.

Employment type: Permanent Part Time (8 hours per week).

Remuneration: $56.98 – $58.83 plus super and salary packaging.

Location: Wee Waa Community Hospital.

About The Role

The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for facilitating clinical teaching and learning for nursing staff, graduates, students and trainees while supporting a culture of continuous improvement, professional development and safe patient care.

This position plays a key role in strengthening and supporting the rural nursing workforce through mentorship, orientation, competency assessment and ongoing education initiatives.

Assess, implement and evaluate educational activities and competency-based training for nursing staff.

Coordinate Orientation and Ongoing Education For

* New graduate nurses
* Undergraduate nursing students
* School-based trainees

Provide individualised teaching, supervision and support to staff across clinical areas.

Participate in local and district meetings to foster effective professional relationships and support operational and clinical priorities.

About You

You are enthusiastic about making a meaningful contribution to rural health services and supporting the ongoing development of nursing practice within the community.

You bring sound clinical knowledge, leadership capability and a commitment to continuous improvement, quality care and workforce development within a rural healthcare setting. Your ability to coordinate education programs, facilitate learning and support competency development contributes to safe, effective and patient-centred care outcomes.

Essential Criteria

* Registered Nurse with current full AHPRA registration.
* Relevant post‐registration qualifications in clinical practice and/or education, or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
* Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or willingness to work towards obtaining.
