The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Labourer with a strong mechanical background to support our maintenance department.
This role will see you working alongside a qualified Diesel Fitter and involved in a wide variety of maintenance tasks across the yard, including:
Maintenance of fixed plant and equipment
Support and servicing of mobile plant
General yard infrastructure maintenance
Assisting with mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance

What You'll Bring
We're looking for motivated individuals with experience in one or more of the following environments:
Shipyards, docks, or marine maintenance
Construction, civil works, or heavy industry
Engineering support or industrial labouring
Mechanical, fabrication, or repair-based workplaces
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Committed to safety and high-quality workmanship
Comfortable working in physically demanding industrial environments
A self-starter with strong ambition and initiative
Licences & Certifications

Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
Working at Heights
Confined Space Entry
Current Drivers Licence
Required (or willingness to obtain):
Construction Induction (White Card)
Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening
