Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sonographer to join our Genea Canberra team located in Deakin on a 12‐month parental leave contract. The hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 10am, suitable for someone wanting extra hours or winding down.
On a Daily Basis Your Role Will Involve
* Trans‐vaginal and, when requested, trans‐abdominal follicle‐tracking scans
* Collaborating with doctors and nursing staff, working together for each patient
* Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical data entry
Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Sonographer (with a current registration) who is genuinely interested in specialising in fertility. You will have strong imaging skills and strong people skills, as a large component of this role involves support and counselling. We are looking for an empathetic Sonographer who can build rapport and provide genuine, authentic care to our patients. As this role is office‐based, you will also need strong administration skills and technical competence – you will need to learn a number of different IT systems used at Genea.
