Role Description

This is a full‐time, on‐site role based in Bendigo, VIC for a Participant and Community Engagement Manager & Support Coordinator. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with participants, families, carers, and community partners, ensuring services align with participant goals and NDIS plans. The position includes coordinating supports, developing and reviewing support plans, and working with internal teams and external providers to deliver timely, high‐quality services. The manager will design and implement community engagement initiatives, events, and outreach activities that increase awareness of services and foster inclusion. Day‐to‐day tasks also include monitoring participant outcomes, maintaining accurate documentation and case notes, contributing to continuous service improvement, and ensuring compliance with NDIS and organizational standards.

Qualifications

* Strong Community Engagement and Community Outreach skills, with the ability to build inclusive, trust‐based relationships across diverse communities.
* Demonstrated Program Management and Project Management capabilities, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of community and participant‐focused initiatives.
* Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage participants, families, service providers, and stakeholders in a clear and respectful manner.
* Experience in support coordination or case management within disability, aged care, or community services, ideally with knowledge of NDIS frameworks and practices.
* Relevant qualification in social work, community services, disability, psychology, or a related human services field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
* High level of cultural competence and commitment to person‐centered, rights‐based, and trauma‐informed practice.
* Proficiency in basic digital tools and client management systems, with strong organizational and record‐keeping skills.
