About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and capable clinical leader to join our senior leadership team as Director of Care. In this critical role, you will partner closely with the Facility Manager and be supported by four Clinical Care Coordinators. You will provide expert leadership in clinical care delivery, compliance, accreditation, and team development to ensure outstanding care outcomes for our residents.
What You'll Do:
Lead, mentor and support the care and clinical teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Oversee clinical operations, ensuring compliance with all accreditation, regulatory and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement and clinical excellence in line with organisational policies and best-practice standards.
Foster strong engagement with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure effective clinical governance, documentation, reporting and risk management.
Partner with the Facility Manager to ensure operational performance and resident satisfaction.
About You:
AHPRA Registered Nurse (essential)
Highly experienced aged care clinical leadership and operational management in a large facility highly desired (Facility Manager, General Manager, or Care Manager)
Minimum 3-5 years of aged care clinical leadership experience required
Large facility experience must be in facilities with 100+ beds
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
IT-savvy with experience in clinical and operational systems, reporting, and digital documentation
Passionate about delivering high standards of care team development
