Job Title: Training Officer
The role of the Training Officer is a vital one in any law enforcement agency.
As a Training Officer, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing training programs to police officers and clients.
These programs will focus on improving the skills and knowledge of law enforcement and police management among officers and staff at various levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver practical operational skills training, including firearms training, to police officers and clients.
* Apply adult education methodologies relevant to law enforcement training programs and policies.
* Provide leadership, supervision, and support to staff.
* Assess program participants and prepare reports based on these assessments.
* Plan, facilitate, and review the delivery and assessment of training programs.
* Liaise with and develop relationships with law enforcement members and other agencies.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of course curricula through research, evaluation, and development.
* Maintain information management systems to monitor and record training and assessment.
* Pursue ongoing personal development and training to ensure best practice in instructional skills.
Requirements
