This program has the aim of increasing the employment of females in male dominated trades. About the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in
- Assist electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
- Pull cables, install conduits, and mount electrical hardware.
- Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, plans, and instructions.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment while following all safety procedures and standards.
- Attend apprenticeship classes and complete required coursework to support ongoing skill development.
What we're looking for - Skills & Experience
- Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
- Excellent mathematical skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work at heights, with a focus on safety
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (preferred, but not essential)
- A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle, and white card
