Job Description
Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic Force Equipment, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Emeco Group, is seeking suitably experienced and qualified trades personnel to join our workshop teams. These teams are focused on the inspection, overhaul, rebuild, and repair of heavy mobile equipment components, supporting high-quality, reliable outcomes for our mining customers through industry-leading workshop facilities and systems. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining Force (and customer) equipment / machines ensuring availability / integrity.
Responsibilities
* Focus on safe working environment and quality of workmanship.
* Major customer machine rebuilds carried out in the workshop.
* Ongoing repairs and maintenance of in-house and customer equipment.
* Maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar, Liebherr, Elphinstone, Sandvik, Atlas Copco - Epiroc, Hitachi and Komatsu mobile equipment within budgets and time frames.
* Working with the Force Equipment customers to meet their company objectives.
* Quality control on all work performed.
Skills and Experience
* Nationally recognised trade qualification.
* Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment.
* A strong commitment to safety.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus.
* A keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship.
* The ability to work as part of a cohesive team.

About You
* Australian recognised trade certificate.
* Demonstrated experience in servicing, repair and component change outs across a variety of mobile earthmoving equipment.
