The Role
Working closely with experienced Partners, you will play a key role in delivering cohesive, commercially focused and legally robust advice across a diverse range of matters. Your work will include:
* Advising Commonwealth Government agencies on administrative law, decision-making processes, and public law matters
* Representing clients in Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) proceedings, including merits reviews and conferences
* Assisting with litigation across the Federal Court, including interlocutory and substantive hearings
* Managing disputes through alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediations and negotiations
* Providing strategic, commercially focused legal advice within government frameworks and accountability requirements
Who Should Apply?
The firm is ideally seeking an Associate with 3+ years PAE in government or regulatory matters. However, given the volume of work, applications are welcomed from lawyers with 2+ years experience through to Senior Associate level. If the work mix interests you, we would love to hear from you.
