An opportunity to join a well-established mining operation, this role will support the purchasing function from head office and assist site-based teams with core purchasing, expediting and supplier coordination activities.
Working closely with suppliers, transport providers and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure purchasing activities are processed efficiently and operational requirements are met.
Core functions of the role include:
* Reviewing and converting purchase requisitions
* Maintaining purchase orders, including confirmation status and delivery dates
* Generating overdue reports and expediting outstanding purchase orders with vendors
* Assisting site-based teams with supplier and stakeholder queries through the team mailbox
* Coordinating freight bookings and collections with transport providers
* Utilising inventory and procurement systems
* Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation
About you
* Demonstrated experience in purchasing, procurement or supply roles
* Strong purchase order management and expediting experience
* Experience working with inventory and procurement systems
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Full Australian working rights
* Current or recent Pronto experience
* Mining industry experience

* Circa $50 per hour + superannuation, commensurate with experience
* Full‐time hours – 7:30 am‐4:00 pm or 8:00 am‐4:30 pm
