Job Description
In the position of Occupational Therapist, you will support injured or ill workers in regaining functional capacity and independence with their ADLs within the home and community. You will collaborate with clients, employers, medical professionals and insurers to deliver evidence‐based, goal‐oriented interventions.
We are flexible in offering casual hours based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive ADL assessments to evaluate an individual's functional abilities and support needs within the home and/or community to promote independence.
* Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals and insurers to provide clinical updates and ensure alignment of rehabilitation goals.
* Make recommendations for equipment, home modifications or support services based on assessment findings.
* Identify suitable equipment and service providers, including attending equipment trials where indicated.
* Prepare timely, high‐quality reports outlining findings, recommendations and clinical reasoning.
* Educate clients and families on adaptive strategies, energy conservation and safe task performance.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to professional, legal and ethical standards of practice.

Qualifications
You are a driven and energetic professional with the following qualities:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Full Professional Registration with AHPRA.
* Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
* Fabulous communication skills – you will frequently interact with clients and stakeholders.
* Compassion, kindness and empathy.
* Well‐developed time management skills.
* A current Driver's Licence and access to your own car with comprehensive insurance.
