About the Role This role supports the Judicial Vicar, Tribunal Judges, and Auditors (case instructors) in managing marriage nullity applications and other canon law inquiries.
Working under the direction of the Office Manager, the Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the Tribunal functions smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for clients and visitors.
Handle sensitive and confidential inquiries with care and professionalism.
Manage transcriptions, correspondence, and case documentation with accuracy.
Coordinate interviews, schedules, and administrative tasks for case processing.
Maintain records and databases to ensure easy retrieval of case information.
Support regional offices across Queensland as part of the broader Tribunal network.
Assist with Tribunal meetings, events, and office supply management.
About You To excel in this role, you will have: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support clients in sensitive situations.
High attention to detail and the ability to transcribe interviews accurately.
Professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in handling Tribunal matters.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat for document management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a complex organisational setting.
Familiarity with Catholic values and an understanding of canonical processes (or willingness to learn).
