The common objective of the Pharmacy Service is that patients derive maximum benefit from medications whilst being exposed to minimum risk. This purpose will be achieved by the deployment of a skilled and caring pharmacy workforce.Key Responsibilities include:The Senior Pharmacist Clinical Trials is required to deliver high level specialist pharmacy services in support of clinical pharmaceutical trial and compassionate use programs, conducted across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.Liaise with the Pharmacy Oncology Information System (POIMS) pharmacist to provide a quality assurance check of all cancer care investigational drug pathways prior to timely invoice requests to clinical trial collaborative and company sponsors for pharmacy trial fee reimbursement at agreed timelines.Provide clinical practice supervision, education and training to pre-registration graduates, pharmacists and pharmacy support staff.Deliver efficient and effective pharmacy service to the highest national and international standards of clinical practice complying with the following regulatory, legal and professional requirements.Remuneration value up to $157 359 p.a., comprising salary between $128 169 - $137 918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
