As Operations & Maintenance Planner, you will organise all operational and maintenance tasks, including reactive and preventative maintenance, operational routines and outages activities.
This role is based in Collie in WA's South West, surrounded by the picturesque views of the surrounding jarrah forest, hills and farmlands, and a 45 minute drive from the beautiful town and beaches of Bunbury.
As the Operations & Maintenance Planner, you will;
* Plan and schedule Operational and Maintenance tasks.
* Monitor operations and maintenance work orders to ensure the procurement of time critical parts are completed in time for relevant tasks to take place.
* Review maintenance notifications for accuracy and clarity to enable adequate priority to be assigned – seeking further information from requestors as required.
* Group operations and maintenance tasks in the most efficient means possible to minimise plant downtime.
* Track and report on operations and maintenance work orders to ensure backlog is managed effectively and efficiently.
* Subcontractor management for operations and maintenance tasks when requested.
* Maintain and update the site operations and maintenance plan.
* Assist with the development and updating of operations and maintenance documentation.
* Identify and assist with the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
* Compose cost estimates for operations and maintenance tasks/projects - inclusive of labour, materials and external services.
Attributes:
* Strong initiative and proven ability to deliver projects on time.
* Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently, whilst establishing positive relationships across the business
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail
Desirable:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an Operational or Maintenance role in a power station.
* High level SAP familiarisation.
* Trade qualification desirable but not essential.
* Thermal power plant operational qualifications desirable but not essential.
* Project management experience.
