Marketing Manager (Parental Leave Contract) | Little Scholars School of Early Learning
Southport, QLD · Full-time, 8-month fixed-term contract
Drive the marketing for one of South-East Queensland's most loved early learning groups.
Little Scholars is a family-owned group of early learning campuses across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, and Redland Bay. We were built deliberately against the corporate childcare model, and our reputation reflects it. We're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to step in and lead our marketing while one of our team is on parental leave.
This isn't a hold-the-fort role. You'll own the strategy, run the campaigns, and have real influence over how families across the region come to know us. If you want eight months where your work visibly moves the needle, this is it.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead Little Scholars' marketing end to end: shaping the strategy, driving enrolment growth across our campuses, and keeping our brand sharp and consistent everywhere it shows up. Day to day that means running our website, social channels, email and paid digital, creating content that actually sounds like us, and using the numbers to work out what's landing and what isn't.
You'll also be the connective tissue between teams, working with our campus managers, operations, and external partners on events, partnerships and community initiatives, and pitching in on recruitment and promotional campaigns when they need a marketing lift. You'll report into management and bring them clear, useful insight rather than dashboards for the sake of it.
What you'll bring
You're a marketer who can think strategically and still get your hands dirty. You'll have a degree in marketing, communications, business or similar, and three to five years doing the work. Experience in education, childcare or another service-based industry is a real plus, but we care more about whether you get what we're about.
You know digital properly: social, SEO, SEM, email, content. You write well, you read data without flinching, and you can juggle several campaigns without dropping the ball. You're proactive, you bring ideas, and you'd rather collaborate than work solo.
You'll also need a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a National Police Check.
Why Little Scholars
Our people matter to us, and the role reflects that. You'll get discounted childcare, flexible working, a modern office with good gear, an Employee Assistance Program, genuine professional development, and a team that actually likes working together. Most of all, you'll do work that helps shape the early years for thousands of local families.
Sound like you?
Send us your resume and a short cover letter telling us why you'd be a great fit. We'd love to hear from you.
