Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Planning Coordinator is a key position within the Planning Service Team and is responsible for the daily planning requirements. The focus of the role is to help drive efficiency and effectiveness in forecasting, loading and manufacture of products to meet customer demands, with established standards of safety, quality and timeliness.
This role is site based, Monday to Friday.
What you will be doing:
* Planning and monitoring the production conditions, manufacturing and despatch requirements on a daily basis
* Liaising and communicating with Planning Team in fine tuning the planning requirements (Finite Capacity Planning) and keep the team informed of progress
* Ensuring the planning system parameters (manufacturability)/ procedures/ process are kept up to date and relevant
* Understanding customer requirements, machine capabilities and resolving customer issues
* Providing daily reports to internal stakeholders of progress against plan, reasons for divergence and the actions being taken to rectify

What you will bring:
* Working knowledge of planning management systems is an advantage
* Working knowledge of production processes within the manufacturing industry or related environment
* Familiarity with SPARKS, JDE, ARMA or SAP is desirable
* Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – MS Word, Excel and Outlook
