Senior Structural Engineer - Buildings Stantec's Buildings team is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Brisbane office. This is a rare opportunity to work on Brisbane’s most iconic landmark projects and nationally significant work.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead and contribute to structural engineering design across the full project lifecycle.
Work on projects ranging from boutique builds to large, complex developments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various sectors.
Mentor and support junior engineers as a senior technical resource.
Engage directly with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Contribute to the development of the Structural team and represent our brand and culture.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Chartered status (MIEAust / CPEng) or pursuing it.
Solid post‑graduate experience in building structures; consultancy background preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
A collaborative mindset with ownership of your projects.
Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
Structural software knowledge of RAM Concept, SpaceGass, and ETABS (essential).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem‑solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
