As a Storeperson at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you'll play a key role in keeping mill operations running smoothly by managing stock movements, coordinating warehouse activities, and ensuring inventory accuracy within the SAP system. This hands‐on role offers variety in your day, from processing stock transactions to supporting deliveries and maintaining safe handling practices for dangerous goods.
This permanent day work position is based at Proserpine Mill in the beautiful Whitsundays region of Queensland. Your Role in Action
* Stock & Inventory Management: Process stock movements, inventory transactions and reporting through SAP while maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
* Warehouse Operations: Assist with organising, storing, dispatching and receiving stock to support efficient day‐to‐day site operations.
* Customer & Team Support: Provide prompt support to internal customers and work collaboratively with the team to meet operational deadlines.
* Dangerous Goods Handling: Provide prompt support to internal customers and work collaboratively with the team to meet operational deadlines.
* Deliveries & Dispatch Coordination: Support delivery and dispatch activities while maintaining accurate documentation and stock tracking.
* Safety & Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety by following site procedures and contributing to a safe working environment at all times.
Your Winning Combination
Our ideal candidate will bring previous stores or warehousing experience, along with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience using SAP Materials Management systems and a current Forklift Licence (HRWL) will be highly regarded, although training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team environment are essential for success in this role.
