Senior Tax Accountant / Business Services Accountant Join Fin Me – Finance, Wealth & Accounting
Our Group is expanding. With strong growth across lending and wealth advisory, we are launching our Accounting & Taxation division and are looking for an ambitious, client‐focused accountant to join our growing team in West Melbourne.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a modern financial services group combining: Mortgage & Commercial Finance, Wealth Management, Accounting & Taxation, Business Advisory. We are building a premium client experience and looking for someone who wants to grow with the business long term.
About the Role
You will work closely with business owners, property investors, professionals and high-net-worth clients across a wide range of accounting and taxation services.
Your Responsibilities
* Preparation of individual, company, trust & partnership tax returns
* Financial statements & compliance reporting
* BAS & GST preparation
* Tax planning strategies
* Liaising with clients & ATO
* Supporting business advisory services
* Working alongside finance brokers & financial advisers on integrated client strategies
What We're Looking For
* CPA qualification
* Minimum 3+ years accounting/tax experience
* Strong understanding of Australian tax compliance
* Experience with Xero & accounting software
* Strong attention to detail
* Professional presentation
Preferred
* Experience with property investors & small businesses
* Business advisory exposure
* SMSF experience (advantageous)
