Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist – Part Time

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist (AHPRA registered) to join our Gawler team on a permanent part-time basis, 2 days per week. You will work closely with our Orthodontist and experienced support team to provide outstanding patient care, assist in all aspects of orthodontic treatment, and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our patients throughout their orthodontic journey.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide clinical orthodontic care alongside our orthodontists
· Bonding and removal of orthodontic appliances
· Fitting and monitoring of retention appliances
· Removal of cement and resin
· Taking X-rays, orthodontic records, and clinical photography
· Performing intraoral scans
· Aligner scanning and attachment placement
· Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
· Accurate and detailed record keeping
· Adhering to strict infection control and sterilisation protocols
· Contributing to a collaborative, professional, and friendly team culture
About You
· Fully qualified and AHPRA registered as an OHT or Dental Hygienist
· Previous orthodontic experience is an advantage but not essential
· Skilled in intraoral scanning and photography, or keen to learn
· Motivated, caring, and enthusiastic about patient care
· A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
· Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with initiative
· Licensed to take OPG radiographs
