Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for creating short-term mine schedules, designing mines, developing production plans, and producing reports in support of underground mine production activities.
The Kalgoorlie site is a start-up operation, offering a unique opportunity to develop and implement new systems and processes from the ground up, shaping the way the operation runs and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent;
* Minimum two (2) years' experience in the underground mining industry in a production engineer position with exposure to various mining methods and mine engineering; short term scheduling, drill and blast and mine ventilation;
* Ability to attain the Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate;
* Demonstrated skills and knowledge in health and safety legislative and statutory requirements within the underground mining environment;
* User of mine planning and scheduling software packages preferably Deswik.
