About the role
BULGAN CORP PTY LTD is a specialist carpentry and steel fixing company. We work on residential and commercial projects including carpentry formwork, steel‐structure installations and steel fixing, and have ongoing and upcoming projects across Sydney.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated carpenter to join our growing team. You'll work across a range of projects performing structural and formwork carpentry, setting out, and other construction duties as required.
Annual salary $85,000–$95,000 plus superannuation.
Key responsibilities
* Interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine project requirements.
* Assembling and installing wooden structures, including walls, floors, and staircases.
* Repairing and maintaining existing wooden structures and components.
* Working closely with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure the successful completion of projects.
* Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements
* Perform carpentry and formwork tasks to a high standard on residential and commercial construction sites.
* Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 2 years of hands‐on experience in the construction industry.
* Solid knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
* Excellent problem‐solving and critical‐thinking skills.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‐quality work.
* Certificate III in Carpentry.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* White card (Construction induction safety certificate).
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
