We’re partnering with a nationally recognised not-for-profit to appoint a Digital Engagement & Fundraising Officer on a 2-year fixed-term contract, focused on growing and engaging its supporter community through digital campaigns, paid social, petitions, and automated supporter journeys. This is a rare opportunity to combine performance marketing, supporter engagement, and fundraising in a fully remote role (shared office in Katoomba and Wollongong if you enjoy going into an office). Your work will contribute directly to protecting Australia’s environment and wildlife. The Opportunity This is a hands-on digital role focused on growing supporter engagement and improving conversion outcomes across the full supporter journey. You’ll play a key role in: Running and optimising paid social campaigns (Meta, Google & LinkedIn) Building and managing online petitions and landing pages Creating automated email onboarding journeys in Mailchimp Supporting fundraising and advocacy campaigns through digital communications Analysing campaign performance and improving engagement and conversion rates Working closely with the Individual Giving & Supporter Engagement Manager, you’ll help turn awareness into action and supporters into long-term advocates and donors. What You’ll Be Doing Launching and optimising paid digital campaigns for supporter acquisition Building petitions, forms, and digital landing pages Creating and refining automated email “welcome journeys” Managing organisation-wide email campaigns and supporter communications Conducting A/B testing across creative, audiences, and landing pages Reporting on campaign performance, lead generation, and engagement metrics Creating engaging digital content and visual assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite About You You’re someone who enjoys experimenting, analysing performance data, and continuously improving results. You’ll likely bring: Experience running paid social or digital acquisition campaigns Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms Strong analytical and reporting skills Understanding of supporter or customer conversion journeys Ability to create engaging digital copy and campaign content A proactive mindset and confidence working remotely Experience in not-for-profit, advocacy, fundraising, or purpose-led organisations will be highly regarded.
