About the Role
This position is responsible for driving sales, sourcing product, negotiating supply terms and managing relationships across Western Australia.
You'll work closely with existing accounts to support ongoing revenue and margin growth.
Reporting locally into a Senior Trader and nationally into the Trading Manager, you'll have the autonomy to manage your territory while accessing strong mentoring, onboarding and product expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Manage trading activities across a designated customer and supplier portfolio
Source, negotiate and procure products to meet customer demand
Achieve agreed revenue, margin and volume targets
Monitor market activity to identify new trading and growth opportunities
Maintain strong supplier and customer relationships across foodservice and wholesale
Conduct customer reviews and reporting to support upsell and cross-sell initiatives
Build networks to uncover new business opportunities
Attend industry events and represent the product portfolio at trade shows
About You
2+ years in a trading, sales or account management focused role within seafood is essential
Experience from a distributor, wholesaler or seafood business highly regarded
Understanding of local seafood supply chains, handling and/or cold chain logistics
Strong negotiator with a competitive mindset
Comfortable working autonomously and on the road
Confident presenting to customers and stakeholders

Competitive salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + super + 10% bonus
