Role Scope and Purpose
Join us as an Electronics Communications Specialist based in NSW.
Work with experienced technicians and technical officers with an electronics communications background.
This role requires you to work in a small team, utilising your technical skills and knowledge to support the design, planning, installation and testing of communication systems upgrades on our defence projects.
Responsibilities
* Develop documentation to support installation activities.
* Perform installations of project-specific equipment.
* Test new installations to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
* Configure electronic and communication equipment/software to support sub-system and system-level testing.
* Ensure quality, workmanship, mentoring and task completion in support of the Project Team.
Requirements
AQF Certificate/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Systems (or currently completing).
Practical experience on communication and/or electronic systems. Computer literacy skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
