About Us
AustChilli is a leading Australian food manufacturing and farming business based in Alloway, Bundaberg. We are Australia's largest chilli grower and operate multiple trading entities across farming, manufacturing and retail brands – AvoFresh and New Fresh Farms.
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Administration Officer & Receptionist to join our team. This is primarily an administration and accounts processing role (approx. 60–70%), combined with front-of-house reception duties.
About the Role
Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, you will support the business through accurate financial data processing, ERP system administration and professional reception services.
This role suits someone who enjoys process, numbers and working in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Your key responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Administration & Accounts (Primary Focus)
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processing
Daily transactional data entry
Cash book processing and reconciliations
Manufacturing and production data entry
ERP system (Exo Business) data management
Database maintenance and reporting
Reception - Be the professional first point of contact for visitors and callers
Manage calls, emails and walk-in enquiries
Provide professional customer service
Maintain a welcoming, organised reception environment
About You - Skills & Experience Required
You will bring:
2+ years administration or accounts experience preferred (training provided; juniors welcome)
Experience with MYOB, Exo Business or similar accounting/ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple trading entities
Confident working with numbers and structured processes
Professional, friendly and confident manner as the first point of contact for visitors and callers
Well-presented with clear communication skills (phone, email and in person)
Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
