**We're seeking for a Test Analyst(Manual Testing) for a 2-3 month contract with potential extension to work on govt space. Role is Hybrid and it is based in Melbourne. Start date: ASAP**
The Test Analyst role is embedded within the project team and is responsible for performing testing activities that verify work items against their Acceptance Criteria and validates the product as per the Definition of Done. The role can also be performed by senior test analyst based on the project size and complexity. Experience undertaking responsibilities including:
- We require a Test Analyst to assist with the manual execution of testing. Primary focus is to execute system testing of the functionality developed against migrated data.
- Secondary focus of the tester is to assist the testing team with progressive system testing if time permits.
- Prior experiences with data migration testing is highly desirable.
**Your day at NTT**
- Assist Scrum Master in providing testing criteria inputs to establish the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done for the project.
- Review acceptance criteria set for the work item and update them for testing related criteria that must be met for the work item to be considered complete.
- Develop the test structure in the tool set to manage various testing types performed across sprints.
- Identify test data requirements and ensure adequate test data is created for testing.
- Prepare and execute test cases from the tool set that are traceable to planned requirements in a sprint.
- Provide support to the Business in test case preparation, raising defects and retesting defect fixes during user acceptance testing.
- Raise and manage defects in the tool set as per defect severity guidelines defined in APOM.
- Proactively participate in the defect triage process and record the outcomes in the tool set.
- Work with Lead Tester to provide daily inputs on testing progress and highlight any impediments.
- Verify the test results in each sprint and ensure test coverage is adequate.
- Attend daily stand-ups and provide feedback on their progress and roadblocks
- Assist with reproducing the issue(s) and address any testing related concerns that arise during the Construction and Release Phase.
- Assist Scrum Master in providing test results input into the Sprint Summary document.
**What would make you a good fit for this role?**
- Experience in using testing tools that include but not limited to; Azure DevOps and its extensions such as Browser Stack, Test and Feedback.
- Experience in performing various testing types including system and integration testing, compatibility testing, regression testing and ensure test coverage to User stories / requirements.
- Prepare and maintain test artefacts related to testing.
- Experience in planning, preparation and execution of testing activities.
- Experience in agile projects and active participation in agile ceremonies.
- Experience in assisting Business with test case preparation.
