We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Heritage and Land Access Advisor to support the coordination, execution and continuous improvement of heritage and land access activities across our operations.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Principal - Heritage and Land Access, the Senior Heritage and Land Access Advisor is a critical interface between operational teams, Traditional Owners and external stakeholders, ensuring projects progress efficiently while meeting all heritage, native title and agreement obligations.
As a senior member of the team, you will support heritage and land access workflows, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and proactively managing risks, timelines and compliance obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and coordinate heritage surveys, clearance processes and land access activities to support project delivery
Manage agreement implementation, including committees, obligations tracking and stakeholder engagement
Partner with operational teams to integrate heritage and land access requirements into project workflows and approvals
Oversee compliance systems, reporting, and data management to ensure regulatory and agreement adherence
Monitor budgets, consultant engagements and Traditional Owner commitments to support effective and responsible operations
About You
You are an experienced heritage or land access professional with a strong track record in the resources sector, capable of operating independently while influencing across a complex stakeholder environment.
Demonstrated experience in heritage, land access or native title within mining or exploration
Strong understanding of WA heritage and land access regulatory frameworks
Proven ability to manage complex workflows and competing priorities
Experience engaging with Traditional Owners and leading field-based activities
High-level organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Willingness to travel regularly to site
