ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Painting Apprentice, your duties will include:
* Carrying out measurements and basic calculations
* Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
* Erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
* Handling painting and decorating materials
* Using painting and decorating tools and equipment
* Removing and replacing doors, windows, and components
* Preparing surfaces for painting
* Applying paint using brushes and rollers
* Applying textured coating finishes by brush, roller, roller, and spray

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full working rights in Australia.

The successful candidate will have:
* A genuine interest in undertaking a Painting Apprenticeship
* A White Card, or the ability to obtain one as soon as possible
* Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
* A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
* A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
* The ability to follow instructions and take direction
* Trustworthiness and motivation
Preferred (but not essential):
* A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* Previous painting or construction-related work experience
