Account Executive – Commercial Insurance
A well-established and highly regarded insurance brokerage is looking to add an Account Executive to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial insurance experience who wants to manage their own SME portfolio while continuing to develop their broking career within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You will manage a commercial SME portfolio generating approximately $300k–$350k in income, handling a broad range of general insurance products. The role offers a balance of autonomy and support, with the opportunity to work alongside a Senior Broker on larger and more complex risks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and servicing a portfolio of SME commercial clients
* Handling renewals, endorsements, and new business opportunities
* Providing tailored insurance advice across general insurance products
* Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners
* Assisting a Senior Broker with larger and more complex placements
* Identifying opportunities to grow and retain the portfolio
* Ensuring a high level of client service and professional standards
About You
* Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking (essential)
* Experience in commercial SME insurance
* Background as an Account Executive, Broker, or experienced Assistant Broker
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to manage a portfolio while maintaining excellent service levels
* Organised with strong attention to detail
