We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to lead operations at The Alcove and Kangaroo Arms. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate hospitality team committed to excellence.
About the role
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of our restaurant, bars, and room service. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving performance to meet and exceed KPIs for The Alcove and Kangaroo Arms
- Ensuring service standards, policies, and procedures are consistently upheld
- Managing supplier relationships, stock control, and month-end reporting
- Leading, mentoring, and developing staff in alignment with our people and culture values
About you
You’re a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating memorable guest experiences. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role within a busy restaurant and bar environment
- A tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Business Management (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of current food and beverage trends
- A commitment to service excellence and team development

- Approved Manager’s Certificate
- Police Clearance
- First Aid Certificate
- Hospitality Hygiene Officer Certificate
