Shedshaker Brewing is on the search for a Venue Manager – is it you?
We are a small, independent, and community‐minded brewery based in Castlemaine, central Victoria, about to celebrate our 10th birthday. We moved into our larger venue in November 2024 and continue to expand our loyal following locally and attract a strong visitor trade. Our full kitchen, highly regarded for its Italian‐inspired dishes, and our commitment to brewing all beers on site, make us the heart of live music in Castlemaine with three free gigs per week, regular art exhibitions, and events such as PubSing and Books at the Brewery.
We are now looking to expand our management team with a Venue Manager to lead our Taproom team. In this role you will put your stamp on the venue, drive future growth and revenue by attracting events, and improve systems and processes. Your ability to lead is critical in supporting a passionate crew.
This role will give you the opportunity to;
* Build on your management experience
* Increase profitability through cost and stock control
* Grow our event and corporate bookings
* Support local providers such as wineries and distilleries and promote our local producers
* Have fun working with a wide range of musicians and visual artists that help make the Taproom a renowned fun and exciting venue
