Programmed are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Welder/Boilermaker to join a well-established automotive parts manufacturer based in Kilsyth.
Key Responsibilities
* Metal Components & Structures Steel plates, pipes, and beams (used in boilers, tanks, and structural frameworks)
* Pre-fabricated metal sections for welding and assembly
* Pressure vessels and storage tanks
* Welding and Cutting equipment
* Measuring tools (calipers, levels, tape measures)
* Fasteners & Fittings
* Bolts, nuts, and washers (for securing structural components)
* Flanges and valves (for piping systems in boilers and tanks)
* Not ideally suited to someone suffering from asthma or respiratory conditions
Essential
* Cert 3 Engineering - Fabrication Trade - Must be qualified boilermaker for this role
* Must have MIG (mild steel) experience
* Forklift license required
* Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings
* Experience working independently and managing workload effectively
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with other teams
* Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking.
* Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other team members.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Must be reliable and available to commit to Monday - Friday.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Punctual and reliable.
