National Business Manager – Solid Tumours (Commission) – North Ryde, New South Wales, Australia

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced pharmaceutical sales leader to manage and coach a team of account managers and drive national business results for our Solid Tumours portfolio.

The Opportunity

As the National Business Manager, Solid Tumours, you will lead a diversified team of 8 account managers, shape national sales and brand strategies, and maintain strong cross‐functional relationships to accelerate adoption of our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Direct leadership of a team of 8 experienced account managers, requiring strong coaching and mentoring skills.
* Shape and execute national sales and brand strategies, driving awareness and adoption of the J&J Solid Tumours Portfolio.
* Lead the execution of national plans, demonstrating agility in responding to market trends and lead indicators.
* Market development – scope opportunities within the solid tumour space and prioritize focus areas to achieve financial results and unlock future potential.
* Facilitate cross‐functional collaboration, implementing high‐quality state and account plans that deliver value for customers, patients and the company.
* Own professional development of team and yourself, establishing and reviewing development plans.
* Coach managers to excel, embedding advanced selling, key account management and therapeutic area/product knowledge.
* Act as core member of the solid tumours cross‐functional leadership team, driving field insights to inform strategies.
* Provide input into business plan, sales strategy and budget, and contribute to the organization's strategic planning.
* Full ownership of sales team travel & expenses budget.

ABOUT YOU

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or life science.

Essential experience within the pharmaceutical industry with a preference for oncology.

Previous sales and people management experience with a record of delivering results in complex or fast‐evolving environments.

Customer‐focused orientation and collaborative, results‐oriented style.

Strong commercial acumen, strategic planning and achievement drive.

Track record of leading with influence in a matrixed cross‐functional environment.

Proven ability to coach, develop and bring out the best in people.

Outstanding communication skills and successful business relationship building.

High integrity and work ethics aligning with the company's core values.

Must be authorised to work in Australia/New Zealand and not require visa sponsorship.
