Spectrum Space is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of services for autistic individuals. We recognise the incredible potential in every autistic person. Our mission is to deliver high-quality services for autistic Western Australians, supporting them to build meaningful connections and relationships.
Using a strengths‐based approach, we offer a Step Into Social (SIS) program for adults aged 18 and over. These programs create opportunities to make new connections and engage in activities that reflect individual interests, such as computer coding, arts and crafts, or spending time together at a local café or restaurant.
As a Social Program Volunteer, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. By recognising and supporting each person's strengths and interests, you will play an important role in fostering confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.
Before starting your volunteering journey with us, you will be required to obtain the following:
* Working with Children Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
If you are passionate about supporting autistic individuals and would like to build your skills while working alongside people from a diverse range of backgrounds, we encourage you to APPLY.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out and we will be happy to provide you with more information.
