* Implement a personal sales call plan with regular follow-up and adapt as needed based on market demands.
* Develop and implement follow-up plans for prospective business leads.
* Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies for the MICE and conference segments, monitoring their effectiveness.
* Adhere to the hotel's rate structure, securing approval for any deviations from the HOS / Director of Revenue.
* Conduct market research to identify and source new MICE and leisure business opportunities.
* Use lost business contacts in Delphi to reactivate and convert past opportunities.
* Identify and convert qualified sales leads into revenue-generating business.
* Provide regular reporting on activity outcomes and insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in events or marketing.
* Experience working with luxury brands in a similar or related role.
* Excellent communication skills - written & verbal, proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel and any other appropriate programs.
* Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and effective time management in all allocated tasks.
* Experience with Delphi preferred not essential
